About Desiree

I've spent most of my life in the spaces between things.

Creative and operational. Strategy and execution. Structure and imagination. Science and magic.

I'm a systems thinker, designer, strategist, artist, and relentless pattern-noticer. For more than twenty years, I've worked at the intersection of people, systems, design, technology, and change.

I've built brands and websites. Designed systems and processes. Led digital transformation projects. Created organizational infrastructure. Developed frameworks and courses. Made art. Written. Facilitated. Asked difficult questions.

The medium changes. The way I think doesn't.

The intersections
are the work.

My professional work sits at the intersection of systems thinking, organizational development, creative direction, design, technology, and change.

My personal work explores creativity, identity, ritual, desire, boundaries, mythology, and the strange, beautiful territory where science and magic meet.

I don't experience them as separate worlds. Both are about understanding the invisible systems that shape what happens next.

Whether I'm helping an organization redesign its operations or creating a framework for personal transformation, I'm asking the same question:

How do we make complexity easier to see, understand, and change?

I’m fundamentally curious.

I’m fascinated by people, systems, stories, and the invisible forces that shape our lives. I follow patterns, chase rabbit holes, and think about thinking. I learn for the joy of understanding, then look for ways to make what I've learned more useful to other people.

I believe everything is connected, even when the connection isn't obvious yet.

Systems and frameworks help us see what was previously invisible. They make complexity easier to understand, reveal where change is possible, and give us a place to begin.

I'm less interested in having the right answers than I am in asking better questions.

Because once a pattern becomes visible, new possibilities appear.

“She’s mad, but she’s magic. There’s no lie in her fire.”

I'm a queer Indigenous femme and proud member of the Radical Faery community.

I'm raising two extraordinary wild things. Becoming their mother has taught me more about resilience, creativity, and unconditional love than anything else ever could.

I collect ideas and information the way some people collect antiques. My second brain lives in Obsidian, where years of notes, connections, and questions slowly evolve into frameworks, articles, courses, and experiments.

I'm equal parts systems nerd and creative muse. I love elegant processes as much as beautiful design, strategic thinking as much as imagination.

I believe creativity isn't reserved for artists. It's a way of paying attention.

I believe organizations, relationships, and belief systems all reveal the same truth: every system is perfectly designed to produce the results it's producing. If we want different outcomes, we have to redesign the system.

Above all, I believe in magic. The world is stranger and more interconnected than we could possibly imagine.

things about me

Thanks for stopping by.

If you've found your way here, there's a good chance you're curious too.

Maybe you're trying to untangle a complicated organization, rethink an old belief, build something meaningful, make sense of a messy problem, or simply see the world differently.
